GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. SCOPE OF SALE
Premium Parts designs, manufactures and sells automotive components for the sympathetic restoration and upkeep of classic cars, youngtimers and vintage vehicles. Our products serve as replacements for original parts that are no longer available on the market, allowing the vehicle’s original character and appearance to be preserved.
1-bis. PRODUCT PAGES AND DOCUMENTATION
The information set out in our product pages, technical specifications, FAQs and accompanying documentation forms an integral part of these Terms. Where anything in them differs from these Terms, the details given on the individual product page shall prevail.
2. INTENDED USE
Our products are intended for sympathetic restoration, for replacing obsolete or damaged parts, and for maintaining the vehicle’s original appearance. Fitting should be carried out by qualified personnel or a specialist workshop.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, buying an aftermarket component does not certify that the vehicle is roadworthy or that it will pass any inspection or roadworthiness test. It remains the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the vehicle is used.
3. QUALITY STANDARDS AND INSPECTION
Premium Parts products are made from automotive-grade materials and are fully inspected before dispatch. Before packing, we photograph and/or film each item to document its condition at the point it is handed over to the courier, ensuring full traceability.
4. WARRANTY
Products are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of delivery.
The warranty does not apply where there has been:
Surface marks
Minor cosmetic surface marks (such as micro-swirls) consistent with handling or cleaning after delivery are not manufacturing defects and do not affect how the product performs.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Products are packed with suitable impact- and scratch-resistant protection. On delivery, the customer should check that the parcel is intact and report any issue to the courier and to Premium Parts straight away. If no prompt report is made, any marks noticed later may reasonably be treated as having occurred after delivery.
6. PAYMENT METHODS
Premium Parts accepts the following methods of payment:
Where payment is made by bank transfer, the order will be prepared and dispatched only once the funds have actually cleared into the Premium Parts account. Delivery times run from the date payment is received, not from the date the order is placed.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Premium Parts accepts no liability for damage arising from incorrect fitting, improper use, or modification or alteration of the product. Complaints and requests are handled solely in accordance with the procedures set out in these Terms. Any undue pressure, or demands backed by the threat of negative reviews, will not be treated as a legitimate way of conducting the business relationship.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Under applicable law, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery.
Conditions for withdrawal:
Inspection of returns
Returned products are inspected at the Premium Parts premises once received. If a product is found to be damaged, or shows signs of handling or alteration that were not present when it was dispatched, Premium Parts may reduce the refund in proportion to the loss in value of the goods, to the extent permitted by law.
9. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND CERTIFICATION
Premium Parts products are aftermarket components. Any markings or certifications are stated on the product page. Where a product carries no marking, it is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the vehicle meets the regulatory requirements of the country where it is used.
10. PRIVACY
Personal data is processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Please see our Privacy Policy for further details.
11. ACCEPTANCE
Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Place of jurisdiction: Rome, Italy.
