Our covers are supplied without type-approval markings, because such markings refer to the complete headlight assembly, not the single cover. Adding markings would require producing and homologating the entire optical unit, maintaining strict conformity-of-production control over the complete headlight, not just the transparent cover.
Compliance note: without component marking, some authorities may require specific checks or criteria during vehicle inspection. Before purchasing, verify the requirements applicable in your country and to your local inspection body.

Since this is specialist production in optical polycarbonate with complex geometries, a light haze may occasionally be present along the black-painted edge. Negligible micro-swirls may also be visible on the surface. These marks are detectable only when examining the part against a strong light with movement — they are imperceptible once installed in the vehicle and do not affect brilliance, clarity or any optical characteristic of the headlight. They are not a manufacturing defect, nor grounds for return or complaint.

Restoring the original (sanding and polishing) often improves things quickly, but the fogging returns with increasing frequency. Q: Are they sold individually or in pairs?
A: In pairs only.
Q: What material is it? Does it resist UV rays?
A: It's made of optical-grade PC (polycarbonate), the same type of material used in modern headlights: UV-resistant and scratch-resistant.
Q: Can I pass the periodic vehicle inspection with these covers?
A: The covers are supplied without type-approval marking (the marking refers to the complete headlight). Requirements and practice vary by country and by inspection body: we recommend verifying the applicable requirements in your country / inspection centre before purchase.
Q: How do I remove the headlight from the car and the existing cover?
A: The entire operation must be carried out with the headlight removed from the car: it's the only way to work cleanly and precisely (cleaning, sealant, alignment). Once the headlight is out, removing the original cover may require cutting it into several pieces with a suitable tool (work calmly and precisely), so it can be extracted more easily without forcing.
