Brighter, more crystal-clear eyes than ever before possible
Engineered for an aesthetic and conservative restoration of the headlight: to bring back transparency and visual impact to the front end of your Barchetta.
You can polish the bodywork, repair every detail⦠but it's the eyes that make the real difference.
The extraordinary transparency of our lens covers comes from 18 months of research and development with cutting-edge, next-generation materials: the same ones we use for modern OEM headlights, which simply didn't exist in the '90s.
The result? Superior to the factory original.
Brighter, clearer, more brilliant eyes than your Barchetta has ever had before β not even the day it left the dealership.
PremiumParts headlight lens covers take your youngtimer beyond its original beauty, with a transparency you simply cannot achieve any other way.
Because a true timeless classic deserves to shine brighter than its very first day.
β οΈ Important note on marking
Our lens covers are supplied without homologation codes, because the marking does not refer to the individual lens cover but to the complete headlight assembly. In order to apply a marking, it would be necessary to produce and homologate the entire headlight unit, maintaining production conformity of the complete headlight and not just the transparent lens cover.
Compliance note: in the absence of marking on the component, some authorities may require specific checks/criteria during inspection or roadworthiness testing. Before purchasing, please verify the applicable requirements in your country/inspection authority.

100% pre-shipment quality control
Every lens cover is inspected before the packaging is sealed, ensuring flawless optical performance at the time of shipment.
- Optical inspection on every piece (transparency and surface)
- Dimensional check to confirm mounting geometries and profiles
As this is a specialist production in optical polycarbonate with complex geometries, a slight halo in the black-painted edge area may occasionally be present. Minor micro-swirls on the surface may also occur. These marks are only visible when examining the piece against light with movement, are virtually imperceptible once the lens cover is installed on the vehicle, and do not in any way compromise brightness, transparency or the optical characteristics of the headlight. They do not constitute a production defect nor grounds for return or complaint.
β FAQ
Q: Why do these lens covers exist?
A: They were created to address a common problem: over the years, original lens covers tend to become cloudy and yellowed, ruining the appearance of the front end. Restoring the original (sanding/polishing) often improves the result immediately, but the hazing returns over time and with increasing frequency. These lens covers offer an aesthetic and conservative restoration solution designed to bring clarity and brilliance back to the headlight.
Q: Are they sold individually or in pairs?
A: Pairs only.
Q: How long does it take to install them?
A: It depends on the skill of the professional. With some dexterity, they can be installed within a few hours.
Q: Can you work with the headlights still on the car, or do they need to be removed?
A: Headlight must be removed. It's the only way to work cleanly and accurately (cleaning, sealant, alignment).
Q: Are they plug & play? Is sealant needed?
A: They have reference clips for correct positioning, but sealant is required for assembly.
Q: What material is it? Is it UV resistant?
A: It is made from optical-grade PC (polycarbonate), the same type of material used for modern headlights: anti-UV and scratch-resistant.
Q: How do I remove the existing lens cover?
A: It may be necessary to cut it into several pieces with a suitable tool (an operation to be carried out carefully and precisely), so it can be extracted more easily without forcing.
Q: How do I protect the new lens cover during installation?
A: During the fitting, positioning and sealing stages it is essential to work with the utmost care to preserve the finish of the lens cover.
β’ Always wear microfibre or soft fabric gloves before handling the lens cover β as with any component with a premium finish.
β’ Work on soft cloths and in a clean environment, avoiding direct contact with hard surfaces.
β’ For extra protection, apply a layer of a common transparent protective film to the surface of the lens cover. Remove it only once installation is complete.
Q: How should I clean and maintain the lens cover to make it last?
A: Avoid brush washing. Use only scratch-free/microfibre cloths and non-aggressive detergents. No abrasive sponges and no strong solvents.
Q: What if I scratch it?
A: For light scratches we recommend a polycarbonate-specific polish (applied gently with a scratch-free cloth).
Q: Can I pass roadworthiness inspection/MOT with these lens covers?
A: The lens covers are supplied without a homologation marking (the marking refers to the complete headlight assembly). Requirements and procedures may vary depending on the country and inspection authority: we recommend checking beforehand the applicable requirements with your local inspection centre.
